If you have linked Google Calendar, your Google Account may be targeted by spam. Please try the settings below.
▼ Change your Google Calendar settings
- Open Google Calendar on your computer
- Click the gear icon in the upper right and open "Settings"
- On the left, under "General", click "Event settings" → "Add invitations to my calendar"
- Select "When I respond to the invitation in email" (or "Only if the sender is known")
For details, see Google Calendar - Manage invitations in Calendar.
▼ Remove events that were already added
Delete the events in Google Calendar (on your computer or in the Google Calendar app). Once deleted, they disappear from Smart Planner as well.
If a calendar you don't recognize was added, unsubscribe from that calendar in your Google Calendar settings.
---
Spam targeting calendars has been increasing in recent years. If you tapped a link in one of these events or want to learn more, please search for information from your local consumer protection or cybersecurity authority.
As for the cause: invitations sent to your account's email address appear directly in your calendar. Google is working on countermeasures, so for now please use the steps above as a workaround.
※ Events are never added to the "Local calendar" (the calendar stored on the device) from outside.
Thank you for checking.
